Carrie Cegelis, MS, LAc, LMT, BCST is a natural health practitioner with a private practice in New York City. Her work integrates coaching, hypnosis, acupuncture, biodynamic craniosacral therapy, energy work and herbs for healing and guidance on the path to experiencing wholeness.
Carrie is the founder of the Living Wellness Center, which she co-directs with her partner, located in the Prospect Heights neighborhood in Brooklyn.
Carrie is a certified NLP Coach, receiving training from The NLP Center of NY in 2021 (New York, NY). She is a certified practitioner of Ericksonian Hypnosis, and trained in Core Transformation, also through the NLP Center of NY, in 2020. She is currently undertaking Master Practitioner training in NLP, as well as Polarity Therapy.
She pursued continuing education in craniosacral therapy in 2006 with the Upledger Institute, and was certified in biodynamic craniosacral therapy by the Shea Education Group after completing a 2 ½ year training from 2009-2011 (Jupiter, FL). She received advanced training in biodynamic craniosacral therapy for infants from John Chitty in 2012 (Boulder, CO) and in craniosacral therapy for infants with breastfeeding issues from Alison Hazelbaker, Ph.D. in 2015 (Greenfield, NY).
Carrie received Reiki training and attunements in 2005 (Tokyo, Japan).
She completed her Associate in Occupational Studies at the Swedish Institute of Massage Therapy in 2001-2002 (New York, NY).
Carrie received her clinical training in acupuncture and Chinese herbs, and her Master of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine from the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine from 1999-2004 (New York, NY).
She graduated in 1999 from Smith College with a Bachelor of Arts in Dance, concentrating her studies in the sciences and the arts (Northampton, MA).
